no need for a different ghost... just get barrel / spring kits and learn the tunes... 10 minutes to change and re-zero. badabing. You will enjoy the .177 for its flatter trajectory, also consider getting the hi power ghost and down tuning it. You will then have the option of changing barrels and calibers with enough power to shoot larger calibers at speed.
how do you like the wildcat ? looking at that and the ghost is you wildcat a bt/I am just now learning how to start HFT too. All the old wizard experts will tell you to go with 177 since you are limited by a maximum fpe. The 177 has less drop over the course distances compared to the 22s. I am building a 177 Wildcat myself with intentions of using it for pesting and HFT.
what scope and wheel do you used?no need for a different ghost... just get barrel / spring kits and learn the tunes... 10 minutes to change and re-zero. badabing.

Its a tube version, and a wonderful offhand ergo masterpiece. I dont think I would recommend a Wildcat for 177 though as most people have trouble finding accuracy in this caliber it seems. The Crowns/Dreamlines are dead nuts solid though. But the Wildcat is the only new FX I will ever buy, and it is the only one I have missed so much I wanted to replace it. I am not planning to be super competitive with the Wildcat. But I know they smash pests, so I am willing to absorb some short comings and compromises.how do you like the wildcat ? looking at that and the ghost is you wildcat a bt/
Sightron S3 scope - your looking at a customized Rowan Engineering wheel but I recommend a magnetic Scope Werks 5” round wheel or a JD Garland wheel as it’s better to be able to take your wheel off for transportwhat scope and wheel do you used?
Having owned both the FX Wildcat and the Brocock Ghost - the ghost wins hands down in every respect, but it is also more expensive AND it has a great warranty. Its a tube version, and a wonderful offhand ergo masterpiece. Better than a Ghost? Mmm probably not, but Im an idiot and the Wildcat really fits me like no other so far. There are a lot of Ghost fans here, and a lot of Wildcat fans here too. I think "better" might be very subjective on this one.
Also keep in mind my goals and experience have been 100% hunting so far, and as such I dont want to steer you in any specific direction. If I had some FT matches under my belt I would be better equipped to give pcp make/model advice. There are dozens of active forum members that have a metric butt load of FT experience that will chime in Im sure. Really the best thing you could possible do is find a friend that shoots FT and try out some equipment before buying. After a couple matches you will quickly learn/understand what will work better for you and then can buy accordingly. That goes for scopes too.
