I'm not hoisting this event, but wanted to make sure the Airgun Nation community knows about the Field Target match.
PHA will be hosting our Air Gun Field Target Match on February 27th the fourth Saturday of the month. At the PHA gun club in Lexington, NC Address 10346 NC 150 South, Linwood, NC 27299
This is our second year hosting Field Target Matches. I want to thank every one who participated in making our first year a success.
Sight-in will be at 9am at the .22 range. The .22 range will be closed to firearms from 9 AM to 10AM. The safety meeting will start at 9:45 am and then we will move to the Field Target range.
The course is set up for .177 caliber air guns. There are 17 lanes with 2 targets per lane, and 2 shots per target. Targets are randomly set between 10 and 50 yards. Hole kill sizes are between 3/8" and 1 1/2" depending on distance. The Troyer difficulty rating is a 34 not counting wind and elevation etc. There will be 2 shooters per lane. New shooters will be paired with experienced shooters to help and instruct them.
Fees are $10 for non members and $8 for PHA members payable at check-in for the match. Please have exact amount.
