This was our first shoot at Palmyra I think it went well for just starting out. 

I hope everyone that attended had a good time and look forward to seeing them in our upcoming shoots on September 11, October 9, and November 13.

Went to the Palmyra Sportsmens Club FT shoot today. A little about my novice experience for those on the fence...

The entire property was very well maintained (as always for this club). Staff was very friendly and eager to greet us and help with all of our questions (we had a lot). It turns out I shot with an acquaintance from 20+ years ago. He is a great guy and helped my daughter and I a bunch. Everyone was very friendly. The targets were in very good condition with varying difficulty. It was a fantastic event and one that I will be attending on a regular basis. My daughter had a great time and wants to continue going. We got much more out of it than the $5 cost to shoot.

If your thinking about going, just do it. There are so many friendly and helpful people you will have a great time, no matter how well you shoot. Kudos to the organizers, planners, workers and the club for bringing Field Target to the central PA region!

Me and my son at today's shoot. Not my first time at that club but first air rifle there. The clay birds are fun too. We've only been shooting since May and came with some cheap break barrel but you can still have fun without going nuts in equipment.
