FIELD TARGET TECH AAFTA NATIONALS INTERVIEWS AND COMPETITION FOOTAGE

Scott Hull uses what is called the dead mans position. It takes the stock off your shoulder and allows you to rest it on your thigh. It's more stable than the other seated positions, but can allow for some resting points other shooters cannot achieve. Ray's springer bullpup certainly is unique, though hefty at around 20lbs. Thanks for the video Tom and I hope to see you at the match this Sunday.

Thank you for the name of the position. I love learning new stuff like that.

Great job Tom! Pam and I were in NC during the shoot but only had 1 day to spend there. As a new shooter, I wanted to see a national event and we had a great time. We talked to several of the shooters that appeared in your video and I was amazed at how happy they were to chat with us. This turned out to be the best day of our trip and got me thinking about going to next years nationals. Glad you made this video! Uj

Dragon,

The RAW TM1000 died the day before I left for North Carolina, so I left it home. Brought the Steyr LG 110FT, and the Marauder. After shooting the Steyr the first day of practice, the regulator died, and I confirmed this by checking the regulator with Harold Rushtons reg checker. So, I went with the Marauder, and had some kind of drastic shift the first competition day, and was chasing zero for the rest of the weekend. Most likely a combination of a leaky o ring, and inferior scope mount. Murphy's Law. I now believe I'm directly related to Murphy..........
