Field Target Tech Channel Episode 16 ESCAA's 1st match for 2018

In this episode of Field Target Tech, I try to document the processes of a typical local Field Target match, from sight in, to the shooters meeting, the competition itself, with emphasis on different positions, which are demonstrated. I attempted to get as many competitors on film, but it was tough being as spread out as we were. I also have a brief interview with Tom Wade, Match Director. This video was made with the new shooter or novice in mind, that has never been to a Field Target match to get a general idea about how the match works.

These guys are good friends, and being this is a local match, they talk while they shoot, it's what they do. He was helping him in that clip, so he would not shoot the wrong target. In a large Grand Prix or other major match, this would not be done, and frowned upon. These are some of the "ice breakers" that happen during a smaller, more local match that puts some competitors at ease.
