I reckon, the camaraderie, the challenge of knocking down a metallic silhouette at whatever distance in what ever position; the skills that you acquire & build up to attain a sharp shooter status (useful & cross over to powder burners if you shoot these); the 'gimp' jacket
, and the smell of freshly oiled walnut pressed on your cheek for those of you who prefer the traditional wood stock... with of course the adventure factor of enjoying the outdoors whilst you make your way from post to post and have a timer counting down as you prep to make the shot from 10 up to 50 yards...
