Filling a SCUBA tank

I recently met this machinist who did sone work for me on a part I needed made for my Skout rifle. We traded work and I tricked out his Benjamin msrauder for him. Didn’t even know he owned a pcp till after he showed me his marauder and yellow SCUBA tank with that yoke connected to it.

I offered to top off his tank but I’ve never held or worked with these yokes. I’m curious if I could fill his tank thru the fill hose end, and just couple up from my hose onto his with a QD coupling. From there just follow normal fill procedure like I would my own SCBA CGA347 tanks.

Yes, I do own an adapter thst goes from male thread CGA347 to 1/8 male QD

Thank you

Absolutely. The only reason it wouldn’t work is if there’s a check valve (which would be unusual) or if your or his Fosters or lines have flow restrictors. If you’re filling tank to tank, the restrictor would just make for a slow fill, which is no big deal. But if you are filling with a compressor a flow restrictor might cause your compressor to shut off if it is auto shut off, if no auto shut off you would need to monitor the final gauge on your compressor to make sure max pressure isn’t exceeded.
