You boost a hand pump by supplying it with about 30psi from a regular air compressor. It is recommended that you use a oilless compressor. Use a regulator to control the air pressure from the compressor to the hand pump. I recommend 25psi to 35psi. You can go higher if you want but it will make pumping harder and possible blow out seals in your hand pump. Boosting your pump will cut down the number of strokes to fill your gun by at least half. Also you need to have some kind of moisture filter between the compressor and your hand pump. The pump strokes are a little harder but is worth it. Less pumping, more shooting.
