Finally got my permit in and the item in the permit, which are a Huma mod 40-3/0 Avalanche moderator ( Compact )

I would have preferred if the Vulcan 3 came in the long version in the .177 caliber too, but it dont, so this cosmetic trick will have to make do.
I think it have also removed a little more of the bark ( not that the V3 are loud on its own due to the build in moderator in the shroud ) but it is hard to tell shooting it here in the living room as the pellet landing after 12 feet in my pellet trap are by far the loudest part of the shot cycle.
The moderator are a few mm larger OD than the barrel shroud, but i can live with that,,,,,, well at least until i get my own lathe ;)

I also picked up a second #1 stage with the traditional UNF thread so i can use it on my Maverick too.
I might pick up another section to lengthen it, but want to roll with this for now, also where we shoot noise are absolutely not a issue.

Now i just need the temperatures to come up a tad more, then i am off to the range again for the first time this year.

Nice peashooter.

I've also got a V3, Compact in .22 version. Nice gun. I' haven't needed to add a suppressor, as it's "just" quiet enough for where I shoot (in the house !). Accurate and nice to shoot. I just put a Holosun (HS530C-GN) green dot sight onto my otherwise stock Vulcan. I did adjust the power and trigger a bit though.

And yeah, agreed, I'm also a fan of the Huma suppressors for doing a good job of quieting the sounds emitted from the barrel. I've got them on most of my guns, even the Mod 30mm, my pistols.
Except...I prefer the original "wrapped" suppressor sections as opposed to the new baffled sections.

First time i took my shroud off the V3, the one of the O-rings holding the wrapping on the build in silencer broke.
So fortunate a am also a salty old sea dog, and so knowing a few handy knots, so i just tied it back on with a little braided fishing line.

Its a nice rifle, like my Maverick, no problem reaching 100 M with enough accuracy for it to be fun and worth while, a tiny sparrow out there might stand a chance, but a dove are toast for sure.
