First Bench Rest Target

Shot this target with my HW-98, .20 cal, JSB Exact, SWFA 10x at 25 meters this afternoon. Wind was 3 to 8 mph from 5 to 7 o'clock. I made a zero change at the end of the first 5 and again at the end of the second five. Anything outside the seven ring is on me.

On Target produced this aggregate.

Good shooting! I’m finding the one shot per target is pretty humbling lol. I used to consider myself a darn good shot, and I am…sometimes! The one shot per bull leaves a trail of tears more often than not for me ha ha. Well done on that card for sure.

That’s a good first target. As Dave said, shooting BR cards is an order of magnitude more difficult than shooting groups. Not many take up the challenge.

It looks like this is a printed copy of the 25m card…and it looks like it printed small to me. The 10 ring should be .079” and the 9 ring should be .315”. If it is small…then you actually scored even better.

It is 110# 8.5x11 card stock.

Is there a target designed to be printed on letter paper?

The 9 ring on my target is 0.197". 

It is 15mm (0.6") inside to inside of the 6 ring.

Well then the target I used is scaled to be shot at about 16 meters .

So if I shot a target at 25 meters that was scaled for 16 meters... Does that mean it was as hard (or about as hard) as shooting a standard target at 34 meters?
