I took a drive up to Sparta, WI to Treniers for a 100 yard pre next weeks competition.
I had never shot an airgun at 100 yards, and this day I was using a borrowed Crown .25
I shot 207 the first round in no wind.
Then the wind came up, and for me at least, undecipherable. I did horrible shooting in the 140's.
The third round was windy, but not as stupid. I got in the 190's
I had a good time with a great bunch of guys. I must admit I did much better than i anticipated, and suspect a good portion of that was due to how well Valerie has it dialed in.
I will be buying this rifle. I'm not a fan of the Hawke ED scope she has on it, but I'll do away with that after I sort out what will be best for me.
Thanks to Jeff up at Trenier for inviting me, and also curses for enabling what may well be a future addiction.
