First day with my new FX Streamline 22

"Imold"Congrats on your new Streamline and also what scope and video setup are you using? Nice shooting by the way and the 3 for 1was nice.
The scope is a Vortex Crossfire II 6-18x 44 AO. The camera is a Sony DSC500 with flip up screen and I use a Gosky camera mount.

The mount was about $60. The thing I like the best about it is it let's you mount the camera to the side if you want. This way you can use the scope with your eye and also film unobstructed.

I have a new scope but waiting on rings for it. It's a Hawke Sidewinder 30 tactical. Here's a pic of the mount with the camera to the side. I wish the camera had more than 120 fps though....but it was already $350....but it has 30x optical zoom. It does double duty as a regular camera, not just a scope cam.

Here's a short video with the camera mounted to the side.

Bob_O, great video and nice shooting. I have a sumo on the end of my streamline too and have a question for you. Do you find on low power, setting one, that your groups open up? I was shooting on power two with the sumo and it was one hole groups all day at 20 yrds. I wanted a few more shots and a little less noise when the pellets passed through the birds and hit the metal beams, so I turned it down but couldn't get the same accuracy as on power 2. I pulled off the sumo and it was back to one hole at 20 yrds again. I decided it was quiet enough without it on but I wonder if you have had similar findings? The POI was about 5 inches low and 1 inch left when I took the Sumo off. That surprised me, but after reading about harmonics it makes sense. Anyway, have a great day a keep up the good work.

Tyler,

I haven't had a chance to shoot groups with it at any power level, as I just got the rifle a few weeks ago and we are in the dead of winter here. I'm anxious for springtime so I can actually bench shoot it outside.

I've only shot on Low power at birds inside of 20 yards, but seem to hit them just fine....but they are close, mostly 7 to 15 yards.

In my videos, when the scope cam clip is in slow motion and all you hear is a low-tone "ping", those are low power shots......they seem to hit POA, maybe slightly low at 15 yards compared to Mid power.

In this video from start through around 6 min, most shots are low power.....you can hear the ones that aren't as they have some "crack" to the sound.

After that it is a mix of low and mid power.

Watching closely, I can see that the shots that do go off center seem to go to the left.

If I can make it out there tomorrow, I'll try to pay more attention.
