I realize it may not be that impressive, but it’s my first one. ~7m, 5 shots, offhand with Vogel 8.1 gr wad cutters out of my modified Daisy 853. If only I could do this consistently….
And I thought my eyes were bad ..lol.Looks smaller than a dime to me. Good shooting man!
Heh. My normal group is between a quarter and a 50 cent piece. So no problem thereAnd I thought my eyes were bad ..lol.
Ya for dime size you need to widen that grouping a bit more ..![]()
Yaaaa..., right ..Heh. My normal group is between a quarter and a 50 cent piece. So no problem there![]()
Seriously - y average is more or less keeping it within a quarter or so at that range, with a flier here or there. I think I definitely got one of the good referbs. I did add a buttstock extension, the 753 sights, some weight under the barrel, and the trigger job (set to around 2lb or so.) Definitely worth the money and the mods were super easy.Yaaaa..., right ..
Looks like you got a good one from cmp. Well worth that deal .
Those are a great deal. I'll have to check them out. I have a bunch of RWS hobby's - the 835 seems to like those. This group was Vogels - I ordered a few tins just to try them (they event sent me a free tin because they delayed my shipping by a couple of days...un prompted. I thought that was pretty cool.)I'd defently find a deal on the black box daisy wads/ flatheads for 10m/50' my sub 600 stuff shoots the well. Catch a sale at daisy on them like 3.50$ for 500 counts..
I can get these 250 count at academy sports in big town .

Was not as satisfied with the ones in tins
I grabbed them daisy on a whim for pistol and could not complain . The only in tins I think are china or something now but use to be Spain made (???). Anyway the black box 250 count were worth it .. I use to have pictures of cards shot with them on a old device I can't retrieve the pictures off ( ran over with tractor and pretty smashed ..lol)Those are a great deal. I'll have to check them out.
