Today I went to the northern part of the Netherlands today to a local club and everyone was great. It was just a causal shoot, kind of get people familiar with hunter rifle target. The club has been there for a 100 years and they have 100 m indoor range, which I can’t wait to try out in the future. This was the first time I had the Brocock outdoors. Once I got the Brocock sighted in to 25 m. with the JSB Exacts and learned the holdover I was regularly hitting the kill zones of of the targets out to 50 m in prone position. For not shooting like this for a year and half I don’t consider this too bad. After the shoot we went to the club house and had a beer before I headed home. The people were great and one guy offered to use his discount at one of the local gun shops for my next gun, which will probably be an FX Crown Continuum for long range benchrest and in the 100 m range.
