First go with the Diana 48

I got the 3-12 Hawke Nite Eye mounted this morning. Shot a few to see what she will do. 
Middle dot was the sight in at 20 yards. First shot was very high on the paper. 
After getting close at 20 I moved it out to 36 yards and shot at rhe left dot and then 5 at the right dot. I think this gun will out shoot this shooter but I wasn’t disappointed with the first go. 

First impressions is this seems to be a very well built gun. I’m very happy with the T05 trigger just as it is set up. 
Getting used to the side lever after shooting the break barrel Gamo I can see how the side levers get barrel droop as I tried cocking it a few times with the barrel.

I remember my 48 days well, your mention of trying to cock the barrel brought back many memories. Once you get the hang of it, I believe your going to find it a very nice springer!!

I don't remember having a problem going from my rws 34 to my rws 48 but then again that was back in 1993 when I bought my 48. Damn sometimers

The RWS 48 is an awesome rifle. I’ve had mine for about three years and have put about 500 shots through it. Love it
