First groups for the year.

[Caliber 22]

May everybody just shoot 10's and X's this coming year.

This is my very first groups shot for this year. I used my Artemis M22 in 5.5mm, H&N 18 sorted pellets, 5.52mm. Shot at 100 meter / 109 yard. First group was the lower left, second group adjusted for wind, elevation kept the same and shot at the center circle. Mean group size as per white window = 32mm.

Please show us your first new year groups.

What is your regulator pressure and pellet speed?

Indeed the JSB Heavy won't group.
I shall buy some 18Grain H&N
Use the JTS now and they don't do it to bad, but it can improve.

Here some groups with a HW77K Special Edition. 22 at 30 Yards, 10 shots each.

The average pellet speed is 943 fps. I don't know what the regulator pressure is. This is the older, 1st generation M22 and it does not have a regulator pressure gauge. I guess it is around 120 - 130 bar.

The JSB 18.13 I have has a mean head size of 5.54mm and this barrel don't like it and therefore it does not group well, even at 50 meter. Cometa made by JSB the same.

It is good groups from the HW77 that.
