how did you do the orange pellets and does it get chips of paint in your barrel or anything very cool like to try the process

The Athlon surprised me with outstanding glass. I was looking for a scope for this compact gun, and the footage quality was the cherry on top

Thanks my friend! I was building this compact at the same time you were building yours. On the scope I ended up getting the Athlon, couldn't find the Swfa anywhere and I'm glad, because the Athlon is perfect... Out of your original price range but in the 500 is not bad.

Glad to see your comment my friend. Hope you're doing great. I paint the pellets using a tray that I 3d printed. I'll share a picture here later. I do a white primer follow by the orange fluorescent. That color is the best I've tried so far.
I don't see any paint on the barrel or anything like that when I clean... Just the same old lead..

Because I feel I want to upgrade my scopes to something better for scope camming — but it's hard to know how much "better" is enough "better."
And the quality of glass is such a contented issue, it's hard to believe anyone, as both glass snobs and glass hillbillies comment using the same language, and you don't know which from which.
So, seeing the scope that's on the top of my list performing so well in our video confirms — this is the one I should be looking for (I just need to wait for a used one so I can afford it).
Keep up the great entertainment and information you provide.

That’s some of the best most precise pest shooting I’ve ever seen. You are very steady and deadly with that little compact Orion, I can just picture you and that gun in a barn full of roosting starlings lol, thanks for sharing this.

I'm sure the glass is excellent but obviously your scope cam setup is just amazing. Sadly I can't buy one anymore.

I’m using the same reg pressure as you - 85 - in my Prophet Performance .22. At that mild setting, and with hammer spring backed out about flush, it shoots 18g JSBs 920 fps very accurately.

I notice some shots show the range to target. Are you adding that manually in the editing software? @orion

Yes I added the number in post, some of the viewers were asking for it, I just found a nice font so it doesn't look too out of place.
