I recently picked up a full power HW44 22 pistol from AOA. Put a Holosun red dot on it and it is a fun combo. First kill yesterday chipmunk at 25 yards. Just dropped upside down after being shot in the ear without a flinch, stone dead. I LOVE the trigger and accuracy of the HW44. It is pretty long but much more balanced in the hand than images would lead you to believe.

Thanks qball! It’s pretty accurate with the Hades 22 pellets. This is a 5 or 6 shot group at 25 yards with the red dot off a tripod.

Heck of a shot and congrats on that incredible HW44! I suck accuracy-wise with a pistola but, your HW makes me want to get one for rats! LOL! Nice photos.

Because of the accuracy of the gun many of us have put rifle scopes on them. They will shoot less than 3/4 inch groups at fifty yards. My eyes can no longer do that without the scope.

Good shooting Biohazard man! I bet it is capable of more with magnification. However, I want to keep it lighter and handier. I have other rifles with scopes when I want to more reliably shoot tiny groups. Though the HW44 and a red dot have exceeded my expectations so far out to 35 yards. It is a fun change from my bigger stuff! It is also surprisingly quiet.

Thanks coontz74! The HW44 is a lot of fun... but it is no Leshiy. I would say the HW44 (with a red dot) shoots groups about twice as large as my Leshiy 22 (with a 3x Acog). The Leshiy 22 shoots groups about twice as large as my EVOL 22 (with a 2.5-10 scope). I guess everything is in orders of magnitude. The Leshiy at 800fps and EVOL at 920fps also have a bit more energy and flatter trajectory. The HW44 is pretty impressive for a pistol though.
