First new gun in a long time Uragan compact

Hello. I haven’t bought a new gun in quite some time. Still shooting my good old rapid .25, condor .25, and gladiator .25. I have a big stash of .22 pellets and wanted a new gun so I recently bought the Uragan compact in .22. Don’t have it yet but it will be there when I get home from vacation. I’m trying to decide what scope I want to put on it. Is the discovery compact a good match? Would appreciate any opinions on what scope would be a good match with the compact. I feel like a kid at Christmas. Sorry no pics yet.

Boy I'll tell you I'm sold on SWFA scopes. I have Three of them and love them. Nice fine X-hairs, you can't go wrong for the price!

I'd recommend blackhound optics. I also have a high end )if you can call it that, haha) discovery FFP scope and it's FANTASTIC

I have 3 Discovery FFP scopes and enjoy each of them. Nice glass for what you pay for them.

For a scope, see if the SWFA 3-15X42 FFP is still on sale. A $700 scope for $400 this past Black Friday. It's one of my favorites and blows away the Discovery (not even close) I have both. Perhaps it's still available for that price. If so, it's a STEAL!

Hawke 30 Compact SF 3-12x40. Really clear glass and good reticle for $330 at MidwayUSA. Never had any issues with this scope.

This .22 Uragan replaced the R3M in .22. The original moderator in the photo has been switched to a Hugget for a quieter shot.

HAWKE have a “etched “ reticle instead of a wire one. This gives you precise cross hairs... go with a HAWKE. I like the Airmax series with the AMX reticle. 

Great choice on your first new gun. Best gun this year!!!

Is there much difference between the black hound and the ohunt scopes? In a little research, it looks like ohunt or black hound ( makes now ) or did make a pretty good BSA scope. At least looking on Amazon. Really like the BSA.

I gotta agree here, lightweight, great scope. Only downside is no illum. 

I would keep it light for the compact... the Dedal Stalker is an amazing 6x fixed power optic with IR and a wicked field of view.
