N/A First PCP gun

A .22 is fine for raccoons if you can be careful with your shots. If you want to take them out long range using only off-hand support, you'll likely have troubles unless you are amazingly talented. But if you're shooting from a bipod or braced against a tree, shooting less than 50yds, a .22 is fine.
This is great to know. I would be shooting them within 30 Yards. just trying to keep them away from my animals.

Hey yeah, I am doing a ton of research and trying to get a little bit of a hold on things. I guess I just need to decide and jump in to get my feet wet.
Nothing wrong with doing your research, to determine what is best for you!
Overall length of a particular rifle is especially useful to understand, and often over looked.
Good luck!
