Umarex First PCP - Notos - cleaning question

I got my Notos in the mail today. I wanted to clean the barrel, but I know you’re not supposed to dry fire it without air. My compressor doesn’t arrive until tomorrow. Is it safe to leave it cocked until tomorrow when I can fill it with air? Or should I wait until I can fill the tank?

Leaving it cocked overnight won’t hurt it. You could decock it by simply holding the lever while fully back and depressing the trigger. You should feel the sear disengage, then gently close the lever. Congratulations on your first PCP.
