I got 5 squirrels in November then 6 in December then none in January. So I was happy to get this 18 ounce male this morning. Double lung through shot with my P35-177 using 10.6 grain H&N Baracuda Match pellets that leave the barrel at 880 fps. It was sitting up on a limb eating an acorn. It ran a few steps down the tree and fell stone dead. Typical reaction in my experience to double lung shots when you don't hit the shoulder at least with a 177.

Good stuff. I just got my first a few days ago. It was 100% random opportunity.... but I lucked out and had my Avenge X nearby.

A week later I got another. Hit this one in the shoulder and it dropped immediately. Still using my P35-177 with Baracuda Match pellets. Chest was a mess. The pellet pushed bone fragments through it. 19 ounce female at 27 yards, upward 6 degree angle (sitting on a low limb).
