Fishing for compressor advice / knowledge

So my 4 CYL Tuxing compressor stopped doing more than 240 BAR on the output.

Here is what i think:
1: it can not be the rings or the damn thing would vent down thru the crank case.
2: It cant be a leak to the outside as i would then hear it, at least when i turn off the compressor, this i assume would also be followed by a pressure drop in the not yet depressurized system after a bottle fill.

So i am thinking ( without finding any technical drawings or trouble shooting guide on the damn thing )
But looking at the Coltri it is a copy of, it have valves on each stage / cylinder, and i am thinking the one for the high pressure stage / cylinder is busted, and so it is essentially just passing on the 240 BAR from the #3 stage.

What is your take on my predicament ?

Also as i am a airgun addict,,,, there i said it.
I have ordered a Coltri compressor at a steeper price range, even if those too apparently do not have a service point in Denmark.
Though i would also assume i can fix most things given the proper documentation ASO, otherwise i suspect i have wasted about a decade of me educating myself.

Ordered the Coltri Mini Compact 100 EM to get the pressures going ASAP CUZ prime time soon and i have lead to sling.

THis of course mean,,,,,, no new rifle for me this year 😟

This one? Ime with my old Yong heng that wouldn't go above that pressure the final stages might not be doing any work. I know my 4cyl came with rings, orings and Reed valves. Maybe there's just some crud on the sealing surfaces for the reeds(been the case on the many shop air compressors I've serviced). It's all fixable at some point and I bet if you had to you could source a compressor assy from tuxing. Did you use appropriate oil, and how many hours are on yours? I'd also check that cheesy blow off valve they have on them.

It is the TXSB model i have 230 volts 1 phase.

I have used Coltri oil in it, aside for the first few fills where i used a " generic " compressor oil in it ( dont recall brand ) but it did say it should work on low as well as high pressure compressors.

It is only now i am knocking on the first oil change ( 25 H ) i think i am around 23 hours on it, so i need to drain it anyway.

I did notice on my previous fill that the compressor lagged a bit reaching 300 BAR, but dident think much of it at the time.

Tuxing sound very willing to send repair parts just need to figure out which ones, with a video, strange to me CUZ there is no visual indicators of trouble.
But ill shoot them a video Saturday when i go shooting again

It is a bit worrying that Tuxing do not have any technical DPT to refer one to, in a attempt of narrowing down the problem.

Only compressors i have worked on is on a ship, a house sized diesel go need quite a bit of air to start with, hence why you also find a big pressure vessel in most engine rooms.
Mind you not big overhauls, more shining up the plate valve parts ASO

Yes the cheesy 300 BAR valve, did slide itself out for a while, then i went drastically on its punk ass so it is not moving anywhere, and is not leaking CUZ it was the first thing that came to mind, also you can hear this if it is venting.

If you've worked on ships then I'm certain you can find the issue. Now you have me worried about mine since I haven't hit the first oil change yet on the hour meter.

My guess would be the same as yours that the 4th stage is leaking down. Looking for Coltri parts I found they sell the 4th stage (4th quarter) independently. This might be the place to look. If you do open the machine up I'm very curious about the failure mode.

When i get the new compressor i will not be in too much of a hurry, but will have to do something, CUZ i would then want to sell of this old one.

I am thinking 4000 Dkkr, that is 1/3 of what i paid for it myself, and that in turn is about 1/2 of the price on a new Hill compressor which IMO is the only local " cheap " compressor.
a MCH6 from coltri is like 24.000 Dkkr in this country,,,,, A LOT more than i paid ordering the new compressor abroad.
If i needed service from a AUTH Coltri dealer, and as shipping here is astronomical, well i could take a ferry to Sweden and get it serviced there, though also not cheap to do, or drive way down thru Germany to get a service there.

I have sailed 2 times as ship engineer, though i DO NOT have the education, so this was smaller ships in world wide traffic, so still only one to fix,,,,, everything,,,, me
