Fix impact help

I just picked up a 22 cal barrel and aluminum high cap magazine problem I got is when I slide in the mag it starts to leak air. I can see valve rod sticking in the mag well a little bit it seems that the metal mag is pushing the valve rod in enough to break the seal is there a way to adjust the seating depth of the valve rod?

It’s not when I fire the gun it’s when I insert the magazine it starts to leak air the mag is pushing the valve open 

as you can see in the photos the rear of the valve rod protruding into the magazine area it’s pushing on that forcing the valve open slightly causing air to leak through the transfer port into the barrel

Is that mk2 with a power plenum impact?

Check with FX 

If its early mk2 the problem its from the valve housing They change it under warranty I think 

As the VH Slightly bigger

it happened with mine but The PP was installed instead

I pulled valve rod out and put it in my lathe and cut off .015” off the face of the valve rod it works good now I’m going to order a new valve rod and a power plenum to install in the future but got it working for now
