Flat top rail replacement for FX m3

I've been looking for a replacement rail for the top rail of the FX impact m3 but cannot find any. I need to mount a red dot and the standard rail is too high or unnecessarily high. Any clues? I've been thinking of just buying a composite flat top rail and drilling the holes at this point. Seems to be nothing like this out there? Something like in the photo would work, preferably with the short 2-3" side guard for the barrel. It's would have to be basically a very short compact K&L but not a giga!

There are several companies making top rails, but I don’t known the at any of them are shorter or much shorter.

Check out Utah Air, as they have the largest selection I have seen. Saber Tactical, K&L, and AirMarksman are the ones I can think of offhand, but I feel like I have seen 1 or 2 more.

I've had it installed on my rifle for 6 months it is awesome ! I bumped my rifle pretty hard a few times and didn't have any change of POI.

What...red dot sight makes the standard rail...too high ?
I've had three different dot sights on my Mk3, all have been at a great height.

Thanks fort the photo it looks awesome. I checked with KL but this rail it just overkill for light reflex sight. They also confirmed that they (KL) do not have a compact solution.

It raises the sight unnecessarily imo. The advantage of it being flat(closer to barrel) is less distance correction for elevation. Also less weight of the rail needed.

What? They probably all fit the M2 and M3. Several of those make both compact and standard length models.

I think I misunderstood your response. Several fit the M3 and make a compact version, but I agree they are not super low.
