FOLDING STOCK ADAPTER

Do you have a AR style stock? Want it folding? Don't want to pay HUNDREDS of DOLLARS???

Well here is the answer, first the good, it's inexpensive and it works, the bad and this is a variable, it's a touch loose (you are suppose to be able to tighten it but..... it may require some shims but....we love messing around with stuff. BECAUSE we have AIR GUNS. I am in conversation with him about a solution. I really don't notice it when shouldering it but when handling it it's annoying as heck.

AIMACULATE on eBay, the gentleman answers FAST!!! https://www.ebay.com/itm/326364918738?_skw=aimaculate&itmmeta=01JEYM7JAFS6A31YS5V6VYPGXQ&hash=item4bfcdd73d2:g:Y6cAAOSwAsNnUdb9&itmprp=enc:AQAJAAAA4HoV3kP08IDx+KZ9MfhVJKkLS6KUJIjxVHOtmX24+gcAwqB7RkQXU0rsqHnt3dHRfj5ePh0ubN8EL44IKa5PKjfZLctu3u9kOp68T4Gelgijpd8QNCtFRmODordxhMOxGuFbymmy2Rfua7FvCYlbaJoGwFjlRRT/tDLD2RuRlOHPki7RKcBcA0t0rF98bzLRgM6EuOexjj60OjdKeBrF1F20QwmALtD4UEPjzGoRCSYcXMCA7J11eUjidTksNNVRjn1UwNZM9OOJRjXohdQzpy9Dj1Ls2GOch8Bqcc+6w7uF|tkp:Bk9SR7ylntT3ZA. Not the cheapest but he does accept returns.

I"ll let you know how the rest of his customer service is.

For my Raptor it's a pleasure to be able to fold the stock for a case and not remove the moderator...as soon as I buy a case, and also to make the HSA and valve adjustments easier.

I did have to run the adapter in with some lube before assembly to get it to work. I also had to take a bit off of the supplied tool to get to the adapter when it's inside of the hinge, some disassembly and reassembly is required but not a big deal. Overall it'll suit my purposes and the price was fair. Forgot to mention he threw in a quick detach sling.

Odd ... link above to listing was removed by seller just today on the 13th.
No worries, in theory the manufacturer is still in business, at least as of 4 hrs ago. I dinked around with it, tightened up the .003 gap between the ears with some precision force, then the latching, I bend it in a little with a. brass hammer and carefully filed it open a few thousands, all in. all not too bad, is it zero no but good enough for me, very minor slop. If I had a lathe, I'd have made some nice brass spacers but, not to be so it was shade tree time.

This Hera Arms SFU is a decent folder and not terribly expensive, made in Germany.

I looked there but must not have used the right search words, it looks nice. Thanks

I have no personal experience with the Aimaculate folder but they have a buy one, get one free offer on the website. They also offer them in green and rose gold, which is a nice option.

I can only speak personally about the Law Tactical, which is a very solid piece.
I can say this, I like the idea, but they use plastic spacers, and they varied by .003". The pivot shoulder bolt hole isn't very consistent it's got a taper going or some burrs, not a real deal breaker but I have an issue with things being loose. Adjusting the latch is key but it requires some finesse and patience. I got this one because it was cheap, and I didn't know about the one on Cheaper than Dirt and I really didn't want to spend a few hundred on the other I found. On the Raptor I need access to backside internals so a hole for allen wrenches is necessary but they made drills for a reason. I lubed it up with some Tri-Flow, no not my beloved Mobile 1, I was too lazy to get off my butt and grab it. Butt stock is now very stable, I can open it as needed. If I still had my machine shop available.....with my CNC cylindrical grinder and surface grinder.....I could have some serious fun.
