Bought 10x40. On my maverick 25 compact. 1lb. Perfect balance on gun. What a difference a pound makes on a gun. Glass is BRIGHT & CLEAR. Unbelievable fov. Snuggle your eyeball next to the crystal clear lens and see the world. Used it out to 100 but that's not what it's for. Squirreling, pine coning, and persimmoning ( that's all a persimmon is good for) out to 50, dead on. . Allows you quick find on target AND THE SURROUNDING area!, you need to learn your hold over due to capped.reticles. I zeroed @ 25, but it goes down to 6. Would I buy again. You bet! Forgot, illumination is great from dim to bright.

Like a lower cost MTC ATOM.

I wish they had came online sooner, I wanted the MTC but could not stretch to it.

I feel these type of scope are perfect for short to medium range airgunning.

Go immersive optics. Dealer link to DREWS airguns or such. I got the clean reticle. I believe they call it the basic. There are 2 retic cases es. Easy to choose. Vicki is breat sevice rep. . About 10 days . 3 or 4 custons.tell em I sent you.

Weight!!! Trying to keep rifle manageable. 1lb on 7lb impact is 8. + air+ lead. Changes balance point even closer to shoulder. Nothing wrong w/ 10x50 except adds weight! I actually use it on maverick.6+1=7 ++. If I'm shooting long range, these tired old eyes need much more than 10x. Out to 100 10x40 works . Not past that for me. Have athlon 6x24x50 that..

Oh this makes sense, actually I'm looking into these scopes because I want to build a light setup. Beed to look into it more. The difference is 1lb between the two?

10x40 is 17.1 ozs or 1.07 lbs

10x50 is 19.5 ozs or 1.22 lbs

Both are 6.1 IN long

Both focus to about 20ft

Fixed. However 10x40 is Airgun ONLY. .7" eye relief my lashes touch the lens. 

check the eye relief on10x50. I believe it could be powder usable.

Thought might try one on powder but I don't shoot any more and old eyes need much more mag @ distances.

I have the IO 14x50 mounted on L2 and I like it, playing in my club at the 22LR range flipping steel plates offhand 20-40-60-80...ok at 80 not really flipping with a single shot but this why I am shooting the L2 there.
