Form AK style Grip for my Ghost

Very interested in these ROYAL grips .... I've got XX to XXX size hands ( Grove size ) So any comment on if or not such a grip will fit me ?

In other words is this grip a MED / LG / XLG sized ?
I'd say buy one and if you don't like it?
I'll buy it from you. I plan on getting more anyway.
:)

Did some digging and found an old picture from 2018!
The top Gun is the first adaption of the Royal Arms Grip I ever did.
It's a Teryx stock being adapted to a Hatsan AT-44
That was the most modified Grip of all I've done! Took a few days and alot of work to adapt to that stock!

Scott, I ordered one a few days ago and I'll let you know how it fits when it get here. Was thinking I could trace my hand on a piece of paper, measure length and width of hand (or lay a ruler next to the traced hand) and share a photo of that paper and a photo of my hand in the grip.

It's not going on my Ghost though, but rather a different project.

ERGO offers a very similar grip, but the shipped price was almost $80, versus $50 for the Royal.

It's made to fit an AR 15 and such. On many air guns the top area just don't match a given air gun.
They may say AR grip but that's just a basic fit so this grip needs a tad of work to extensive work.
Most I've done is some trim near the top of the grip to match contour of a given air gun.

I've done at least 3 different guns and each was a little different work involved. The FX Dreamline was the least involved amount of work to fit.
I can pull the grips from the FX and EB XVI and place them near a stock Royal Arms and grab a picture if you'd like.
The Teryx stock I sold but I have pictures of that work saved at GTA.

YOU FOLKS stating the RoyalArms grip needs to be altered / modified ..... WHY IS THAT & To Fit What did such become required ?
Like privateer said, to take some off the top. All that extra around the top doesn’t look like it will fit some rifles. It isn’t the only one to be like that. My MPA didn’t fit my Crown for that reason, but it fit my Impact (I think). It isn’t just flat on the top where it meets (Like and Ergo for example). It has extra material that wraps around the top, and some rifles don’t have room for that. Some rifles are just flat above the grips and back, while others have more of a beaver tail and allow room for that buildup.

I fitted an AR grip to my Ghost as well. For those who don’t know, the biggest differences between the AR and AK grips are that the screw of an AR grip screws exactly in the 90 degrees elbow formed between the back of the triggerguard and the bottom of the action, while the AR screws about a cm (1/2”) more towards the back of the gun. Furthermore the AK grip has a much much wider slot, and lastly the inner angled mating surfaces between the grip and gun (perpendicular to the screw axis) differs by about 5 degrees.

To make an AR grip fit an AK based gun (which the Ghost is) you mostly need to do some dremelling to widen the slot of the AR grip, and then drill a new screw hole aft of the original one. Not very complicated, and if you go slow and test fit often there is really not much that can go wrong… (and worst case is you messed up a grip, and they don’t cost the bank…)

hello I was wondering how long did it take for you to get your form grip i ordered a form beavertail grip and
a cheek piece it has been six weeks and i can't get anyone to respond to my emails about where it is or when i might get it
I did have one person say that they would check on it and get back with me and then i never heard anything from them i kinda think maybe they don't know where it is

Are you talking Royal Arms still? I placed an order with Royal earlier in the week, (Monday I think) and got an email with a tracking # a few days later. That tracking # said "label created" until this morning. Now it's at a shipping hub and expected delivery is Tues. If that is accurate, I'll have it about a week after placing the order, not too bad.
