Forum back button?

So, if I click on a thread, say half way down the page and then click the back button on my iPad it takes by me back to the top of the page. I thought it used to take me back to the approximate place on the page, like half way down where I was??? I’m I imagining something changed here or is my memory really that bad?

Mine does go back to where you last were, on the previous page. I’m using an IPad.

Mine will do this as well, iPad and iPhone. I noticed that if I swipe the entire page, it’ll take back to my last position on the previous page
