How about it? Great way to meet folks. Plus if someone wanted to start a match in that particular state they could post it there. Please diregard yes/no and yay/nay. Vote either yes or no, there is an option to change your vote.

if this is possible, then classifieds should be easy to section into Guns/Acessories/Ammo and while we are at it, discard or archive items marked soldf ound and nla

Have you tried looking at the Member Map (Under "MEMBERS"? Granted, some on the forum aren't listed due to not providing a proper address, but it gives one a good feel for who is in the areas of interest. It could actually use a bit of updating itself.

Mike let's say you want to know if a match is going on or to meet people, The concept would be go to your states forum page and look.

We already have enough forums. There is a geo locator that shows who is in what state. If you want to get together with people in your area, post a thread asking for people in that area to respond. No need to add additional forums that would clutter the landscape. Just my opinion, not slamming anyone who thinks it is a good idea.

We dont need a whole sub forum list of states for people to get together. This forum spans the whole world not just the united states so we would need sub forums for every country. Thats a bit much, others have already posted that we already have these features in the forum. You want to know who is around you to possibly shoot with go to the map and/or post in the general forum asking for members local to you about getting together.

Not realistic at this time. We try to keep the # of individual forums to a minimum, so that viewers don't have to navigate through dozens of "folders/levels" to find something.
The 1st step would be for EVERYONE to update their location on the Member Map. People are slowly starting to add more details, but as you can see if someone just puts their State without a specific City, it doesn't really help Members find each other.
To update your location simply click on your Avatar, then your Account Settings (person with cog wheel), then Account Details.

Yes, that's what I meant when I stated that it needs some updating. As Michael pointed out, there are many that simply input an area or State but fail to include a town/city. Those are the ones that are not truly listed. At least that's the way I see it.
