I am also new here but I know if you hit the arrow under the little picture (avatar) a drop down box with show you the member's location as well as other info in their profile... providing they chose to share. I can also tell you that I spent several years as a moderator in another airgun forum that had an off topic space and most of the forum's issues came out of that space. I'm not saying that there were no good things.. just alot of issues. Yes, it keeps the moderators busy.

New this past November so who am I to suggest anything.
Thats why I said wishes .

I wish the states or countries of poster was also with the little pictures

I wish there was an off topic heading. Probably been considered in past but I imagine it’s too much a pain to moderate

Mike
also just click on the name / handle the bio will show , but i agree it would be nice if even only the state were included .

Plenty of other places to talk off topic, I personally like coming here to read and learn about airgun related things.

Not much for me. Of the 3 I joined and mostly just read if you mention gun on Cloudy Nights ( off topic heading ) for instance it gets real touchy quick and moderators want to lock. On the other which is the Corvette forum ( old life dream already sold ) anything goes on their off topic.

@blackdog899 Post what you want to talk about (within what the rules deem as acceptable) in your social feed. To do so, go to your profile and click “update your status” box. Then type what you want to type there.

Your post then shows up in the “Social Feed” for other members to read or they can see these posts when they visit your profile page.

Oh, you kids and your cute moderated web boards. Back in the day real posting went on USENET (newsgroups) where virtually anything was allowed, especially in the ALT newsgroups. The Wild Wild West of the internet. That sure was a lot of fun. It still exists but not nearly as fun...

Rules were simple, if you don't like what somebody wrote, ignore it, don't read it or block them.
