FX foxes at 50 meters

A hard shooting 25 cal still has trouble keeping up with a 22 short energy wise. Keep that in mind when shooting critters. Find a pellet or slug that shoots the most accurate out of your rifle and practice head shooting. When you get to the distance you cannot hit a golf ball that is beyond your range.

Golf balls are fun for target practice. Amazing how far they can fly when hit well. One can discern how well they hit the golf ball by it's trajectory.

I have a 50 yd range that I can shoot off a bench in my shop. I have two orange painted golf balls drilled through and hung on a tree with a coat hanger. I have noticed the very thing you said you can tell where you hit the golf ball just by where it goes.Golf balls are fun for target practice. Amazing how far they can fly when hit well. My AT44 hatty in .25 has taken many fox during there terror mode (early fall) here on the farm.
