Tuning Fredrik I need your attention for FX Impact trigger improvement please pics heavy

Yes, I agree that the FX triggers are rather crude in comparison to other guns match triggers. By publishing all your modifications and photos, your are leaving yourself open for someone to steal your hard work, unless you don't really care. You could copywrite or patent that work, then if anyone would want to build rifles with your triggers, you could gain a royalty each time that is done. It could be rather complex and may require hiring a lawyer, but your work is proprietary and worth something.
I have no financial considerations in it. This is my hobby.

If FX considers it, this is a little gift to FX from my side.

I am sure Fredrik can improve this design to a perfect level.

Very classy, but im pretty sure it's Fredrik (no c). I don't hate the impact trigger at all but there's always room for improvement.

i agree the trigger on the impact is not perfect but you can make it a lot better buy just replacing the ball detent screw with an adjustable one, and the spring for a slightly lighter one, you can then adjust the position of the ball with the nut on the outside and the wait of the second stage with the hex in the centre of the nut, you can get a very light first and second stage and still have a good second stage break (y)

It's been done a few different ways along the same theme by people in the past and this setup is just my take on that idea
Not a very good pic but i think you can see the idea

The above is the link of the video when I had got this idea and did it.

Believe me that the design architecture change that I have done now is a different level of thing.

OK, just take it hypothetically, you have a pimple on your fingertip. How would you execute the trigger? Any trigger but for this example the Impact.
I had to laugh at that, Atilla.

To get a pimple on your finger one must be a super greasy @$$ sweat hog that must eat French fries six times a day.

OMG can you imagine what his ear canal would look like?

Sorry to derail your thread, Mubhaur! Once again, I am amazed with your tenacious efforts in making this impact better in all areas of the gun. Ive sort of followed Atillas concept, of just repetitive shooting and getting accustomed to the trigger. In 2021 I had a neck fusion that rendered my trigger finger, thumb, and middle finger completely numb. I constantly drop things as I cannot feel anything. Ive had to increase the weights of the trigger pull on all my pcp’s that offered this adjustment because in their prior settings, I found myself letting off a shot way too soon because the trigger was to light. Ive had to also increase the second stage length of pull. So unfortunately this modification of yours I cannot have.

Dear thank you for the appreciation.

In your case, you had an exceptional issue for the time being.
I am not talking or improving things having some health issues.

Suppose my finger lose feelings 100%, I shall not be able to feel the trigger even if its hard.

So everything is being discussed for normal conditions.

Exceptional conditions need Exceptional solutions and exceptional conditions are far less than normal conditions.

That lead to the conclusion that things should be designed keeping in mind the normal conditions with the option of desired adjustability if an exceptional condition arises.

Your comment is just like an audit report to me where we do only exception reporting as everything else is assumed to be fine.

Just how I see the things even other than this hobby.

I hope you will understand my point and will not mind it.

I do see it. Increasing trigger pressure is just my fix so as to be able to keep shooting is all. People find ways, unique ways, to be able to do things that they really enjoy doing. I once saw a video that someone posted, of a very handicapped man that still wanted to shoot, use a shoelace type of string in his mouth that was tied to the trigger. He would fire the shot by tugging on the string with his teeth.

Thank you for sharing this. I would love to try it, where did you source the parts?

Hi
Those are my wishes that someone will take the initiative or steal the design as you say and manufacture a quality trigger for the impact.
