I know I am resurrecting an older thread, but I thought I would comment on MERO ballistics program.
It is free, it is updated, and it offers ballistics models (GA2, etc) that may not be in Strelok and aren't and never will be in Chairgun.
I tried MERO because since I started getting my .177 Akela working to my liking and shooting farther (50 yards to 75 yards +) I found that I could never get Chairgun to match my real world results and Strelok doesn't work on PCs.
If you try MERO, make sure to take a look at this before you even start adding your own data.
MERO can actually provide a lot of data for you, including the BC if you follow the directions in https://gpc.fotosoft.co.uk/download/merohowto.pdf
Anyway, I am still getting used to MERO, but I am more than a little bit impressed with it!
The one thing I have noticed about both Chairgun and MERO (never have used Strelok) is that none of them take the dew point into consideration in the environmental conditions. They only use relative humidity. Without knowing the dewpoint, RH is a useless number.
So far, at 50 yards, MEROs intercept chart using the GA2 model is much closer to my reality than GA or G1, but still not perfect especially as I go farther than 50 yards using .177 Fx 10.3 pellets @ ~779fps.
Your mileage may vary, but you really should check out MERO.
Even rsterne on GTA seems to like it... at least for slugs.
My best to all!
Aim small, miss small.
