I received the holy grail of boards for the Drozd Blackbird, also a holy grail among full auto BB guns. Shooting it evokes similar excitement I had as a kid when my mom would let me shoot the BB gun at the fair.

(Sergey’s board compared to stock)

The board is custom made by a gentleman named Sergey. It takes the blackbird from 1200 rpm to 5000 rpm. 16 volt to 25 volt capacitor with an added capacitor for the magazine to keep up with the solenoid. Also, it is more adjustable. A stock board has 3 options: single shot burst, triple, and six shot. Sergey’s board can be set from single to 10 shot and full auto. RPM ranges from 400 rpm to 5000. 12 power levels. A lot of value for a $100 upgrade that requires a little soldering.

I sure am glad we’re still able to receive goods from eastern bloc countries. Ingenuity and quality craftsmanship is embedded in their genetics. I.e. Taipan, Edgun, Ataman, Kalishnakov, Baikal, etc.

Not sure about the stock barrel. Looks like they’re the same as the Jim C barrel which looks like a 1/2-28 threads. Can’t confirm since I don’t own anything to test threads.

You can buy a cheap adapter that has 1/2-28 internal threading to check your barrel. Being that these are made by Baikal, which also makes powder burners, it is likely the threads are 1/2-28.

Hi Legionair,

Thanks for replying. I have a 1/2-28 threaded insert and it is way too big. I am guessing this is some sort of metric thread. I will pull out the calipers and figure it out.

Thank you for trying to help.

Measured it and printed an adapter. The thread on the end of the standard barrel is 7/16-20.

Sorry to jump on your thread. I have a blackbird that I can't get to work. I used to just hook up an hpa bottle to it and the thing would kick ass.
I had to get a new bottle because the old one was out of hydro test range and now it shoots 90fps. But when I turn off the air to the remote line it jumps up to 450fps for about 10 shots then the air in the line runs out lol. I'm just about to lose my mind with this thing.
I had the old bottle with air in it I found 2 nights ago, hooked it up, the gun was shooting like a laser! Now it's like a nerf gun.
I've been reading and people are saying to put extra washers in the reg to get it up to 1600psi, I can't find a regulator that is at 1600psi for it. But it was working 2 nights ago. LoL....
Any ideas how to make this thing work again?
