front sight on a moderator

If you're using a moderator adapter you might be able to drill out and thread the top of it and make a threaded "pin" about the same width as your factory front sight and thread that down into the adapter. Make sure the height of the top of the new "sight" is the same height above the top of the barrel as the factory sight and you should be good I think.

That's what I did with my IZH pistol in the top of the picture below. Talk about "backyard friendly"...... the pellet hitting the paper target makes more noise than the gun.

I can switch the moderator from gun to gun so I can shoot open sights or red dot. Best of both worlds.

Since the time you installed sight on the moderator, have you unscrewed the moderator from the barrel?

I'm curious to know if there are any alignment issues when screwing the moderator back onto the gun
