Frustrated with Hidden Shipping Fees. Any Suggestions?

As an infrequent ammo buyer, I’ve recently found it challenging to shop online for the best deals. While searching for low prices, I’ve noticed that shipping costs often push the total far beyond my budget. I’ve used AmmoSeek, but it requires adding items to the cart just to see the final cost with shipping, which has been time-consuming and frustrating.

Can anyone recommend ammo directory that displays the total price, including shipping, upfront? nor Any ammo retailers who offers lowest price with lowest shipping price.

I’m looking for a more efficient way to find the best deals without the hassle of repeatedly checking out.

pyramid air.. put 4 in your cart and pay for 3.. plus if over I think $150 it's free shipping..
for cheap plinking I use crossman premier hollow point from Walmart 22 caliber I think for $6.99 tin of 500. I caught those a couple times on sale and got a case of them each time. that was at the physical store.
hopefully you find something in your price range..

Agreed. I purchased 12 tins of NORMA brand .22 Cal 17.6 gr from Pyramid, I paid for 9 and got 3 free and with shipping it was about $78 I think? They are 250 pellets for $5.99 ea.

@sportsmanus I know of no particular list or site that is specific to airgun projectiles. It would help if we knew which caliber(s) you’re primarily shopping for. Also are you looking for pellets or slugs? Any particular style of pellet or slug? Do you prefer any particular brand(s)? This may help you get advice that’s tailored to your needs. In a general sense I’d look at Pyramyd AIR and Airgun Depot for pellets. As mentioned after ohrchasing over a specific amount shipping is usually free. They also tend to pack pellet tins well and they have a standing offer of “buy 3 and get the 4th tin free.” Just be mindful that the cheapest tin or ammo box that is in your cart will be the free one.

If you want straight forward pricing, Trenier Airguns is a great shop. You can calculate shipping before placing your order. If you need slugs Nielsen Specialty Ammo is about as cheap as they come with great prices, flat rate shipping, and bulk discounts. Hope this helps some, but knowing specifically what you’re looking for would help get information tailored to your needs.

So what Brand, caliber and weight ammo are you looking for. Some more detail could help point you in the best direction.

As already noted:
- Trenier has excellent ammo prices and shipping is decent for a smaller order. Above $150 and the Pyramyd deal breaks even.
- Pyramyd Air give you a buy 3 and get 4th (of lowest cost) for free. Over $150 is free shipping.
- Airguns of Arizona has a buy 4 get 5th free (must be same ammo) on some choices. Shipping is higher so best is combined with other order.
- Utah Air - I belive they also have buy 4 get 5th free on some ammo. Shipping is higher so best is combined with other order.

Worth noting is that the places we are recommending will pack your ammo well so it doesn't get destroyed. We WILL NOT recommend you buy ammo from places like Midway or Amazon as they will just toss it in a box to rattle around and get dented and damaged during shipping. Cheapest isn't always best.
