What a nice day- very calm, a bright winters sun, and 8 shooters. Like the TV show- 8 was enough. Enough to have fun and share some stories, Christmas snacks and a snowball fight.
Minus the snowballs. Or fight. But fun, that we did have!
Here are the guys looking for the targets- the mud was deeper than we thought. Eventually, we uncovered them.

But how about the scores? We put out larger targets, and everyone found a way to compete that was satisfactory for them- Offhand, pistol, spring gun and just plain sit-in-the-mud and shoot. 52 Possible, but three shooters had a shorter match, with 46 possible. (We rolled up the lane a little early, apologies to you!)
My apologies to Riz and Dana- they shot unlimited PCP PISTOL- the cell was cut off when I posted it.
Pistol shooters were Riz, Dana, Frank and myself.
Those who WISHED they shot pistol was everyone else
And smiles- there were lot's of smiles. We are going to do this again in February (regular match in January, big targets for pistols in February), so mark your calendars: 3rd Sunday of every month, Field Target in Concord, Ca.
