Another great day in the field.
It takes a village to raise a FT range- most everyone pitched in to move out 32 metal targets on bricks, in the middle of a mid-summer storm. That's 64 shots- not bad for the PCP's but the springer guys had their work cut out for them.
Lightning flashed in the distance and the mustard yellow morning light weirdly muted colors. But if you don't like the weather at the MPR, just stick around, it'll change, and so it did.
Surprisingly high scores by everyone, given the changing winds and temperatures. I'm not disparaging the shooters, the winds were variable and able to change direction 180 degrees between shots.
We had humidity , cold winds, dry sirocco wind, no wind and finally, humid heat sweltering within our range. Great weather for blue belly lizards- very distracting to shoot in the midst of their scurrying and random appearances. No lizards were harmed, but they affected many of us with their antics.
