FT pellets.

Hi guys,
I'm aware of the different ft classes and power limits in USA.

Not often do I see what pellets are actually used.

I've shot European FT, everything is .177 and less than 5 pellet choices are common. Jsb exact, heavy and express. H&N Baracuda ft and lately the new Baracuda 8.

What's the preference for you FT guys?

It's just something I am interested in and often ponder .

For sub 20fpe most shoot either the .177/10.34 or the .177/13.43, either made by JSB but sometimes with a different label on the tin(rebranded). A handful of shooters also compete with the JSB .20/13.73.

I use Crosman Premier Hollow Points 14.3 grain out of a Crown. Some of the FT results posts will show what gun, scope and pellet were used. I find that info very interesting as well.

I prefer Air Arms 8.4g for wftf(-12fpe). For hunter class(-20fpe) I was using Air Arms 10.3g, but have recently switched to the new Benjamin Match in 10.5g

Here are the pellets used at Arlington TX and Oklahoma City over the last year. The JSB/Air Arms/FX 10.3 Heavys are the most popular, mostly in Hunter class. 8.44s and Monster Redesigns 13.43 are second and 3rd, with the 8.44s being popular with WFTF shooters.
