Just got my FWB 124 back from a tune and the rear sight was broken off in 4 pieces. I understand that the parts for the 124 are not made anymore. Does anyone know of an aftermarket open sight that can be used. Prefer not to use a peep sight because of my eyes. Thanks, John

Yes l have. Have a FWB 300 and a HW 55 with peep sights but l'm finding them more difficult to use. Open sights are a lot easier and faster to use for me.

Just checking. Most folks find the aperture sights to be better if they have vision problems. And an aperture sight would be your easiest and maybe only solution. Williams make a rear blade sight that fits in scope grooves, but you may find that you can't get it far enough forward to work well.
I have a set of factory FWB 124 sights I'd trade for an HW55 wide groove rear peep sight! And a Weihrauch rear sight that would fit on the breech of your HW55 if you truly like open blade sights.

Williams makes an open sight model Williams FP-GR-TK Blade Sight that has a square notch open sight blade. AOA has it in stock. That could work.

Ya, that stinks .. kinda like letting a friend use somthing and get it back damage or broken.. for all you know that guy dropped it broke it , shrugged his shoulders and sent it back to you. . And here you are. Should of tuned it yourself.. maybe done better or as good and nothing broken. Sad to say..

Looks like that rear sight on ebay got snatched up, hopefully it was OP that nabbed it.
As a rule of thumb, I'd recommend remove any sights from a gun before sending in for a tune. These are extraneous to the operation and can only get damaged, whether by the tuner or in shipment (the more likely possibility).

Me to i know id be not to happy . Not long ago but here was one for sale here in the want ads. Or maybe a member seen this thread and had one to offer. There's some nice guys here that come to the rescue on things like this.
