FWB FWB 124D & Standard

Bought this FWB 124 stock made of Himalayan walnut from James Maccari before he stopped selling custom stocks.
It did not have any checkering on the forend so it was sent to Brian Dudley to be checkered.
It was listed as a Himalayan Stunner
It is one of my nicest stocks.

The FWB124/127 are Iconic timeless springers, nothing else quite like them, I took one for a walk the other day and bagged three nutters in about ten minutes, all head shots using H&N Barracuda 8's , instant kills. I have PCP's but these get the job done, no air tanks, just a tin of pellets for hours of fun shooting.

My left handed one. I have this and two standards. Originally Beeman advertised velocity around 780. They have creeped up in velocity with better pistons and springs. Bought a 124 standard off of Beeman in 1979. Still the best springers I have owned. A Beeman Left Handed Deluxe.

Nice. Looks like my two, except left handed stock. Those guns are made for iron sights. I have Gehmann adjustable diopters in my receiver sights.

I'm not the biggest fan of Corcoran's style but I actually like his FWB124 design
I ordered one of SC stocks a few years ago, (Bastogne Walnut), for my 124. At the time, he was applying stippling to the pistol grips. I had him leave that off, and had my checkering friend check it up a bit.
I still think these rifles are overall, the best of the production spring guns of the past.
