well as poorly as the aluminum to wood fits now i would be looking for some 1.5 inch aluminum and just block it out
FWB did make spacers and things ut finding that stuff could be impossible
so if you could get the black off the aluminum then go Delrin
butt pad is looking old so that could be done
you can just make round spacers for test purposes also
pick one and do it

Not a stock builder, but I am a woodworker. Perhaps make a template out of 1/4-3/8 inch stock to match the end of the stock, or better yet, the aluminum mount (as @marflow 777 mentions, it is not flush). Use a template router bit to cut out an endgrain 1" piece. You may want (or need) to leave a 1/16 inch thickness to remove by hand, end grain is a bitch. Then attach it to the end of the stock, screws and glue should suffice, dowels would be another option. If you use the aluminum part as the template, you should contour it back to the native stock with hand tools, such as spokeshaves, and rasps/ files. Sand, then finish to try and match the stock. Re-attach the adjustable part... That's all I got...Cheers! Rick

those stock spacer look interesting
i am coming to the conclusion that we all need 3D printers, this would be a perfect project for a 3D printer
i am all about wood, easy to work with but as a stock extension i am not sure
one thing in this case it needs to be reversable so the rifles factory form is not damaged
wouldn't a 300s stock work as well if one could be found
