Question about the FWB 300S Mini (Junior)- when did the stock style change. I have one arriving soon like this one. I believe the ser # dates it around 1980.
I don't know for sure - and am away from my stash of Beeman catalogs and other references. But I do remember the first Beeman catalog I got in 1985 had the newer style stocks. So FWIW we can narrow it down between '80 and '85, at least!
The first version of the 300S Universal also had a "stepped" fore end.
ohiochuck, you bought this from me. The last catalog I have with the junior model is Edition 6a. Not certain that's the last time it was mentioned, but it is the last time I can find it. A friend of mine, who this gun belonged to, his grandfather was a big to do at Accuracy International back in the day and bought this for my friend to learn to shoot benchrest.
