Hi all,..I’m looking for some advice. I have a FWB 90 that I was shooting this morning. The cocking lever won’t return to the locked position. I don’t want to force it and bend or break anything. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so knows a remedy? Thanks for your help. John

I can cock it all the way back…I’ve had this thing for a couple of decades…it simply won’t return. I’ve even pressed the catch that tells it the bolt is closed and tripped the trigger... I’m not opposed to disassembling it…I was just hoping to have an idea of what to look for. Thanks John

if you took the grip frame off and remember there is a spring under the front plastic cover you might see the problem
my guess something broke
there was a post like these on a UK forum with a 65 but i never saw the outcome
getting the spring pressure off is your first challenge and you need an extra set of hands, so everything doesn't slam forward
i rebuilt my 90 many years ago they are complicated
you have little choice but to take the grip frame off
also is the cocking arm screw tight
i will look for the answer
