FWB goes Snake Killing

I'm with you on shooting snakes Joe. I feel same way about pigeons and starlings here in Idaho. I go out of my way to kill them. Every one. It's amazing what your doing with that 300. How is the trigger on it. The one on my old FWB-124 is just to stiff. Had it apart a couple of times and polished everything, but still stiff. I hear the new production model of the 124 has a much better trigger. With the deal on Champchoice.com I'm tempted to buy another one, but finding it hard to justify having two of them. Delmas.

. Shot this group yesterday with the AirArms Falcons at 38yards ..Poor tree catching hell cause rain has it too muddy to put up targets on backstop lol.
The trigger I honestly haven't adjusted other than turning the shoe a little . There a several screws that you can adjust for basically any like . Mines probably breaking at 10 oz and has a very nice stop at 2nd stage and then just breaks without any thought . I've heard you can set them up at like 2-3 ozs and no worries about prefires . When you tear one of these guns completely apart it is truly amazing the design of it !!!
The things that you wouldn't notice or think of and how it's integrated into the design . My next step is deciding what to do about metal and handle on breech . There is some freckling and tiny pitting . The inside was dirty from years of use but zero signs of rust but the cocking handle and breech how wear as you can see in pic .
