If they have the same threads it will work. I’m pretty sure all the Crown threads are standard size 1/2 UNF, so as long as your moderator is too, you are good. You can always use a moderator made for a bigger caliber on a smaller rifle, because the moderator hole is bigger than needed. It is perfectly fine to have a larger moderator, and some manufacturers actually suggest you get the larger moderator.
Another good thing about have the 30 moderator, is that you can use it on on your 117, 22, 25, and 30 without buying new moderators! Keeps your collection down.

Of course a 30 cal moderator will work on a .22. That's all I buy for all my rifles, even the .177 pipsqueek.
