Using the G1 drag law for a slug will mean the BC will be very speed dependent as it is not a suitable drag law.

They are the only reason. I'm attracted to buy a 357 .. soon but if jsb comes out with a 80g 357 slug as good as the .30 .. that could make me order one today..AGT.. should come out with a 357..

There is no commonly used drag law available. I have tried to produce something which may be more suitable, which was written about here. https://hardairmagazine.com/ham-columns/some-new-airgun-slug-drag-models-by-miles-morris/ but this is just a starting point and needs proving and refining based on reliable test data.

The problem with the G1 drag law is that at 950-1050 ft/sec it gives artificially high BC values which are not correct at lower speeds.
