They don't show on the website. Are you sure they sell the outer barrel housing? All I see is CF liner sleeves. Link?
I went through the techs at [email protected] which are always a pleasure to deal with.

What kind of epoxy did you use?I initially fitted the tensioner kit with just the inner carbon sleeve and tensioning up the barrel nut as per the norm. The results were terrible. It did help a little with accuracy but POI changes were worse than the STD setup...and that's saying something.
I ended up bonding the FX liner and inner carbon tube permanently to the steel barrel tube. I then got a piece of 25mm OD heavy wall carbon tube, machined some spacers . This assembly was placed over the 20mm carbon tube that comes with the FX Tensioning kit.
Again this was bonded permanently in place . the whole barrel assembly is now effectively one piece.
When i install it i just slide the assembly into the frame until it bottoms on the barrel clamp forward of the reciever....NO tension .
Accuracy is superb and POI impact changes have been eliminated.
The other very important aspect is you can now "Bump" or move the barrel , rough handling or otherwise and the POI doesn't change!!
The original Stock FX barrel setup leaves A LOT to be desired!!

Was the 680 good for filling the gaps?Not Epoxy......Loctite 680 HS ..
Yes.... It will fill the gap OK...its quite viscous. Was the 680 good for filling the gaps?
My FX CF sleeve had a pretty loose fit over the liner.
I did reach out to the email address, perhaps I didn't use the secret code or perhaps they only have 700mm. I asked about buying a 500mm and a 600mm, I just got a short "contact FXUSA" response. They don't show on the website.

I got the same thing initially but replied with a request for a special order.I did reach out to the email address, perhaps I didn't use the secret code or perhaps they only have 700mm. I asked about buying a 500mm and a 600mm, I just got a short "contact FXUSA"
Will give it a try next time. I hate 2 part epoxies.Yes.... It will fill the gap OK...its quite viscous.
Thank you. Assembly question... When fixing the liner + CF tube to the steel sleeve, how did you keep the threads clean? Or did you loctite the jam nut into the sleeve as well? Not Epoxy......Loctite 680 HS ..
Yes.. i loctited the jam nut as well....i have no intention of ever trying to disassemble , so i wanted every component "fixed" ..Thank you. Assembly question... Thank you again! I'm thinking I'm going to repurpose the Bullet Central tension kit. It has a tight fitting tension sleeve and a shroud. I don't have machine tools, but I can hacksaw the sleeve to length. First candidate is a 700mm .30 cal liner for bench.Yes.. i loctited the jam nut as well....i have no intention of ever trying to disassemble , so i wanted every component "fixed" ..
I will say again ...its been a massive improvement over the stock setup !!
In exactly the same way. It's just a shroud screwed on to a tensioned barrel instead of a barrel tube of almost exactly the same length. It is physically the same thing after just blowing out the tail cap for a bigger diameter carbon "barrel tube".One thing I haven't heard mentioned is how you are venting into the shroud .the muzzle end of the factory shroud has 2 ports in it where it threads onto the barrel underneath the shroud .the way the tensioner is set up the muzzle end of it has no ports

Tensioner has 1/2 20 thread at the end. Screw internal air stripper of shroud to that like normal. It's really straight forward tbhSo your attaching the shroud muzzle cap to the tensioner cap(threading/screwing ) muzzle cap? Correct?
I put my barrel shroud back over the barrel tension tubeHi everybody.
Recently i installed a installed a 700mm fx tension kit onto my .25 M3, not so much to see if i can increase accuracy as its already quite good but moreover to see if i can eliminate POI shift ( jury is still out on that one !).
Obviously removing the fx factory shroud and replacing it with the carbon fibre shroud and jam nut has ment that there is quite a increase in muzzle report as my current tune is pushing 41g slugs at 960fps ( some 80 odd ftlbs) and my 0DB sound mod is not coping very well. Has anyone else experienced this ? Im thinking of putting a carbon fibre tube cut to the appropriate and sliding that over the barrel tension tube to see if that soaks up any of the sound, next will be seeing about a different sound moderator, maybe a donny fl Ronin or something else.
As did I with a tail cap mod, and kept the harmonic tuner. Mine is still very very quiet at 73 ft lb in 22.I put my barrel shroud back over the barrel tension tube
