FX FX Airguns DRS Pro: How Significant is This Really?

Wow. Really fun to read. I have had a DRS Pro since Utah Airguns first had them. Maybe April 2024. Yes a different design. It really does feel like a powder burner. I am a squirrel shooter. .22 cal all the way. My gun is always hooked up to a large tank, so air is never an issue. And yes this rifle does shoot. Accuracy, I will say a touch better than my M4.
Now here is the biggest change to me. The chassis height. Think about it. The M4 air bottle is below the barrel. If ever shooting from a vehicle or other the bottle below the barrel makes the gun higher. Now with the drs the gun is lower like a real rifle. Putting it through ladders and other on a PRS course this does make a difference.
yes shot count is low, that is the design of the gun. It is meant to be filled all the time. Nothing wrong with that when on a PRS course. Now if you need more than 15-18 shots, use a different rifle.
Rifle is so easy to tune. Just pressure and hammer spring adjustment.
And yes if running high pressure, 170 bar, it will have an o-ring failure. Easy to fix, but wow, my M4 has o-ring failures also. A little lower pressue and the orings do not fail as easily. I am speaking from experience. So please no arguments on this.
So should you purchase one. Ok, what will you use it for. Is a 15 shot count ok. Let the people that purchase them enjoy them, if you do not, like it. Great, but don’t knock others.
Have fun and be safe.

If I was strictly or more accurately mostly using it for hunting, sounds like an excellent rifle. It has a traditional look which some love. BTW I agree with the don't knock it if you don't like it. Some just can't resist crapping on other's parades. In my opinion theres a gun for everyone's taste, what one might lack in one aspect it makes up in other aspects. To each their own. God Bless America.
